Najima joined the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) in 2025 as an Educational Therapist, specialising in providing mathematics intervention for learners with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and other learning differences.
With over 13 years of experience in education, Najima has worked in various teaching roles, including as a former MOE educator familiar with the Cambridge syllabus. She later taught IGCSE mathematics at Dimensions International School before exploring her passion for supporting students with special needs at Delta Senior School. These diverse roles have given her invaluable insight into working with students who face unique learning challenges.
In addition to her work at DAS, Najima has been a freelance tutor with SINDA since 2016, where she finds great joy in helping less fortunate students succeed academically. She says, “It’s definitely a delight to give back to the community.”
At DAS, Najima looks forward to expanding her potential and applying her skills to plan and coordinate activities that support learners with special needs, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive.
