Awareness Talks on Learning Differences

At DAS, we recognise the importance of raising awareness and deepening the understanding of specific learning differences, such as dyslexia, among educators, parents, and the wider community.

Awareness and professional development talks are now offered by DAS Academy, the training arm of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore. These sessions are thoughtfully designed and delivered by practitioner-lecturers with deep experience in supporting diverse learners in both local and international school settings.

Today, many educators are already familiar with the fundamentals of learning differences. As such, DAS Academy’s sessions now focus on providing tailored, practical strategies that address the specific challenges teachers face in their classrooms. Whether your focus is on reading comprehension, supporting working memory, classroom differentiation, or building inclusive practices, these talks are customised to meet the unique needs of your teachers and students.

Each session typically runs for 1 to 1.5 hours and can be arranged as part of your school’s professional development programme.
